Whew!

It's been a rough couple of weeks for us.
We started off with Wrigs getting the nasty swine flu and being a sick sick boy for a whole week, but luckily he got better in time for {Trick-0r-Treating}.
We moved my 90 yr old Grandma into an assisted living community. She fell the other day and had a small stroke and isn't doing too well.
The worst part of it all is that my darling sister-in-law Shawna's Father passed away last week from H1N1. It has been so sad that his wonderful life was cut so short. He was such a great "Father" for my older brother Robbie. We know that we will see Neil again someday and that he is with his Father again.
***Here's to hoping that these next few weeks are better ones!***

{TrIcK-oR-tReAt}

We went as the Cat in the Hat and Thing 1 & Thing 2! It was so much fun! Wrigley was precious! He didn't like having his hair sprayed blue but he was so cute! It was really fun to take him trick or treating and for him to have the whole experience. He was so cute saying "Teak a Teat!" My heart just melted as he (yes he) knocked on the doors and picked out the candy that he wanted! I can't wait for next year!

The "Munkin" patch!

{wRiGlEy 1St CaMpInG tRiP}

We packed up our car and headed south to Mona for a quick camping trip with some friends this Labor Day weekend. This was my 2nd experience camping and number 1 for Wrigley. I wasn't quite sure what to expect...but it went much better than expected.

We got to the site and set up our tent...only then did we realize we had the wrong poles for our tent...oh well what do ya do? We made the best of it, and we were still plenty comfortable for the night. Wrigley was such a good little boy, exploring all through our camp site and following the boys into the wilderness for potty time!
Wrigley getting an exploding fist bump from Jayson! His favorite part of the evening!
There's nothing like a clean face while your enjoying the great outdoors!

It was so much fun that I want to go again over UEA!

Steve had fun going off the rope swing that we found there...it had 3 different levels you could swing off of. Wrigley however wasn't so excited about the water...to cold or something, but that was the first time he ever wanted to get out of the water right after diving in!

The Host

OK, so after hearing a BUNCH of mixed reviews I finally decided to read Stephenie Meyer's "The Host"
I really enjoyed this book. Here's the thing people its NOT Twilight! Surprise Surprise its a totally different genre too. I think that we tend to put authors in one category and expect everything to fit into it. That is not the case thank goodness.
I really liked this book and I enjoyed every word that I read. That's my 2 cents on this topic. I definitely recommend this book.
