Quick trip to the NW

Our family took a quick trip to Portland this past weekend. My grandma passed away and so we went up for the funeral.
It was so nice to visit where I grew up with my family and to show them all around. We stayed at some old friends house, saw some old friends and caught up with family.
Here are a few...a few pictures from the event.

Day out with Thomas

{Thomas the Tank Engine} came to the Heber Valley railroad, and if you've ever met Wrigley you know how much this kid {LOVES} Thomas. So we ventured up there with my sister and her 2 kiddies. It was fun to be there and to see Wrigley's excitement over all things Thomas. Here are some highlights!

Introducing Azzy....7 months later! OOPS!

I have no excuse for not posting about the not so new addition to our family I have just been capital L-azy! So here we go.
She was born September 11th at 6:57 am weighing 6 lbs 7 oz and 21.5 inches. The spitting image of her older brother. In fact my first thought was..."oh hi Wrigs"

Holding my little Azlynn Anne right after she was born! What a beauty!

She has been such a joy in our lives..there have been a few bumps with her along the way...she didn't breastfeed and that cause mommy all sorts of guilt...she was so tiny for so long. She wore new born for 3 months and then all the sudden chunked up big time. I still can't get over her chubby thighs!

But we love her and so does her big brother. Wrigley is always kissing her, holding her and trying to play with her...it brings warmth to my heart and a tear to my eye!

Here are some of my favorite pictures over the last 7 months!

We were asked to play the part of Mary, Joseph and Baby Jesus in our Stake Live Nativity. It was such an amazing experience!

{I promise}

Ok I know I'm a serious slacker on the blogging front! I didn't post Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years, Steve's Birthday, Wrigley's 2nd Birthday or the announcement of baby #2!

I promise to mend my ways and get back on the wagon...I promise!

Barnes & Noble

We are having a big fundraiser tomorrow at Barnes & Noble. We are really excited for this event, and the scholarship money that it'll provide for us.
If you are not in the Sandy are tomorrow you can still have your purchases go toward our organization if you present ID # 10002079 when you check out.

Whew!

It's been a rough couple of weeks for us.
We started off with Wrigs getting the nasty swine flu and being a sick sick boy for a whole week, but luckily he got better in time for {Trick-0r-Treating}.
We moved my 90 yr old Grandma into an assisted living community. She fell the other day and had a small stroke and isn't doing too well.
The worst part of it all is that my darling sister-in-law Shawna's Father passed away last week from H1N1. It has been so sad that his wonderful life was cut so short. He was such a great "Father" for my older brother Robbie. We know that we will see Neil again someday and that he is with his Father again.
***Here's to hoping that these next few weeks are better ones!***

{TrIcK-oR-tReAt}

We went as the Cat in the Hat and Thing 1 & Thing 2! It was so much fun! Wrigley was precious! He didn't like having his hair sprayed blue but he was so cute! It was really fun to take him trick or treating and for him to have the whole experience. He was so cute saying "Teak a Teat!" My heart just melted as he (yes he) knocked on the doors and picked out the candy that he wanted! I can't wait for next year!

The "Munkin" patch!
