However it hasn't happened again since. He's come close, but he's holding out on us!
Unfortunately there are no pictures yet...but there will be!

Growing up too fast!

I finally got my act together and took Wrig's in for his 9 month check up...even though he is now closer to 11 months than 9 months. Oh well!
So I took him in and here's the report:
{He weights 21 1/2 lbs and that puts him in the 50 % for his age}
{He is 30 1/2 inches tall and that puts him in the mid 90 % for his age}
It's crazy that he is getting so close to 1 year old! It feels like yesterday that I was on my way to the hospital to have the darling boy!

ITCHY-ITCHY-ITCHY!!!!

Well it has been a rough week and a half for me...last week I woke up Sunday morning with strep throat. Yeah no fun...especially when you have a darling little boy that you just love to hug and kiss and cuddle with. My doctor prescribed me some amoxicillin to help get rid of the strep. WELL! Last night, after having taken the amoxicillin for the last week I woke up at about 4 am itching my hands. They felt like they were on fire or like they had been eaten by fleas, and I just couldn't stop scratching my hands. Then my feet started to itch, then my face, then my back, arms, stomach....Well I was covered in hives and my face started to swell, my arms and hands started to swell. It was no fun! It freaked me out and I started to hyperventilate and I was totally freaking out! Steve, being the AMAZING husband that he is went to Walmart and like 5 am and bought me some benadryl and some claritin for the hives. So it turns out that I am now allergic to penicillin! I took my body 26 years to freaking figure that out!
Luckily by the time I woke up this morning the hives were gone and I am totally fine. But last night was a little scary! Thank goodness for WebMD

Too cute to not post!

Wrigley is quite the ball of constant motion...so he definitely won't sit still long enough for me to change his diaper when he's not on the changing table in his room! I snapped these tonight while I was trying to get him ready for bed.

We had to put the explicit bar across his "whoo-hoo"! Its just too funny! Steve and I kept giggling while he was doing it (Hey we are just trying to keep our little one pure!:))

The other day my Mom and I were playing with Wrig's and I got him to do the "So Big" thing where he raises his arms...anyway after we were done we went downstairs and I tried to get him on video doing it, he wasn't too happy at first. I thought it was darling though!

This last picture is of me trying to show Wrig's how to drink from a sippy cup...it didn't work out so well though!

My sweet husdand!

I just wanted to take a minute to praise Steve for the wonderful husband and father that he is! I have been really sick with strep throat since Sunday...I mean hardly getting out of bed. It's practically killed me...OK not quite but you get the picture. And being that strep throat is extremely contagious I've been a nervous wreck about Wrigley getting it from me. So to ease my mind as best he can & to help me recover, Steve has been letting me sleep in and completely taking care of Wrig's until he has to go to work. I mean I've been sleeping til about noon since Sunday, and not once was I awakened to Wrigley crying or anything!

It is hard to be a Mom and to be sick, but with a husband as patient and understanding as mine it is something (however unpleasant) that I now know I can handle!

THANK YOU STEVE FOR BEING SO GREAT!!!!!

I LOVE YOU!!!

Happy New Years!

Last night we had a lot of fun with family and friends to celebrate the new year Steve's sister and brother in law left early this morning so we had to go say our goodbye's yesterday. It's sad to see them go...but we look forward to seeing them again in July in sunny San Diego. Wrigley and Ethan will be running around by then and we'll take them to the beach, Sea World and the Zoo. 7 months is a long time to wait to see them again though.

Adrian was so fun always wanting to hold the boys and play with them. I think he's ready to have a little boy of his own to play with...and someone to help protect sweet little Serena from boys when she gets older
!
Then last night we went over to some friends house for a New Years Eve bash. There wasn't a lot of us there but it was the quality few. We had the Wii going downstairs with the men and some of the kids playing, while the ladies were upstairs butchering American classics on the Karaoke. It was a lot of fun!

We had a lot of fun singing....way off tune!
